It's about time the hype wears down on those. I still perfer my aluminum mags. Mainly b/c I have about 30 of them. I have some brand new unused in the safe. I bought a bunch b4 Obama came in, due to the scare of not knowing what he'd do.

There is no "hype" about P-mags

They are simple the best magazine EVER made for the AR platform,

If you can manage to destroy one it will be replaced without question.

Magpul has stepped the entire AR game up with their dynamics videos

Agreed, they are just a better built mag. I've read reports of pmags being run over by humvees, and they still load and feed just fine.

I prefer p-mags also, although I still have plenty of metal GI mags...
