I got a complete LMT Defender lower yesterday and was comparing it to a stripped lower I put together with all LMT parts so they should be the same. The dimpled pins are in the one I put together and the rear seems loose to me. When I say loose I mean I can push it out with very little force. The complete lower would definitely require a tap. Anyone run into this?

Did you make sure the legs of the hammer spring that extend toward the back of the receiver are on top of the trigger pin and not under it?

The spring legs hold the pin in place, unless you have something horribly out of spec.

Not lmt, but Ive had some that are God awful tight and I have had them be able to push in and out with your fingers. Never had one fall out before.
Could be the lower or the pin out of spec. Lower on the large side, pin on the small side.

I would try a different pin to see where the issue lies.

Just an update on this. The lower that I put together has the LMT Axle trigger and the complete lower has a Milspec trigger so I swapped them between the two and the issue followed. I called LMT and they said this is normal for the Axle triggers because the pins need to be able to rotate a little more freely. They also said using antiwalk pins on their lowers will void the warranty.
