    This is a hobo knife my uncle forged out of an old railroad spike 20 or so years ago. I love this knife as it really feels great in your hand and it really holds an edge. Great skinning knife.

    I just noticed im in the for sale section. It's NOT for sale but show n tell. The non fire arms section of the forum seemed to disappear.

    If you will look real close somewhere on the knife it may say Pearce or however it is spelled. He was the one who made most of these and the pioneer of the spike knife. Lots of others made them but if it says Pearce it is an origional.

    Dang thats cool, I might have to try making one of them. I gonna look at the antique shops for some old spikes this weekend.
