Recently acquired a Browning HiPower with Heinie dove tail rear sights. The sights need to be tightened but I cannot find a torque spec anywhere, even on the Heinie website. Any ideas? Also should I use a medium thread locker or nothing? Thanks, Suppo

I would consult a bolt torque chart first but I suspect the appropriate torque value will be around 8-10 in/lbs. and a medium thread locker like Permatex Blue is what I would use in that application.

Thanks, I talked with a gunsmith yesterday and he gave me the same advice. Again, thank you
