Gunbroker-making an offer to the seller

Has anyone bought a gun on Gunbroker by making a reasonable offer on a fixed price firearm? I’m looking at a S&W 4006TSW. It’s been there at least 3 months. seller appears to be a dealer, not an individual.

I have been able to get some sellers to work with me off GB by contacting them directly at their places of business. Sometimes the listing includes contact info and other times I've researched them by location. Sometimes their user names help in Identifying the business. I would not make offers thru the GB system

I've haggled on price utilizing the private message system on GB before - I'd consider that more of a fluke though. Most people won't even answer or will immediately decline.

Some auctions have "take a shot" on them. This is a way to make an offer.

I’ve seen this, unfortunately this seller doesn’t mention anything.
I’m active on eBay, I get make offers all the time.

People are people, and everyone is different. Last year I found a guy that had 2 NIB Surefire warcomps listed, I got in touch with him and ended up buying 4! Some will deal, some won't. Just like buying on here, I live up in AL, not everyone will ship. Never hurts to ask...
