Fsb chop

I have a 6920 and have access to a spare fsb. I want to chop it down into a low profile fsb will the spare fsb pin holes line up with my barrels pin holes?

Front sight bases are pretty much standard. As long as its from a reputable maker, it should match up fine.

Thanks. I bought one from a bush it doesn't match the colt. The fsb's come to find out, are the same but the pin holes vary based on the manufacturers jig for drilling the pinholes. Bummer. Ill just get a low pro gb and dimple the barrel.
