do you have any experience with older Smith and Wesson revolvers? I have a model 18 k frame. I believe it's an 18-2. It has been abused a little but is otherwise in great shape.

One of the charge holes needs to be cleaned up. The previous owner must have been playing with it because there is a hammer strike mark right beside the charge hole, and I believe it has peened the rim and is causing issues on double action due to the cartridge not being able to seat all the way. I tried to clean it up a little but got scared I would mess it up worse then it is.

Also the action is so tight. I dont believe its been shot much. It being a rimfire it needs to have extra power to pop the primer. I cant dryfire it to loosen everything up because its a rimfire.

Anyway if anyone has experience with older revolvers please PM me. Thanks
