The memes making fun of this are hilarious.
People can drop their slides all they want...they can argue about the harm vs. non-harm all they want...everyone is entitled to their opinion on the subject and they can do what they want with their property. But if you ever handle any pistol of mine, do not drop the slide on an empty chamber...ever...period.
