Let's say I have a Bulgarian AK-74 (not saying I do) and wanted to change the furniture. I've been doing some research for stocks and I'm getting confused on what will and won't fit. Some that I find state that they don't come with the necessary hardware. What additional hardware is needed? I need a quick primer on what is involved and hopefully some suggestions.

    TIA,

    Sean

I know for sure that milled receivers use different buttstocks than stamped receivers (like you have).

Be carefull when installing wood on the gas tube as it (the wood) can crack fairly easy. Lube the ends with a bar of soap and turn slow. If it stops don't force it,reverse and start over.

What moron1 said above, the wood on the gas tube can be a pain in the ass, take your time with it, I used a strap wrench to help get a hold of it. Butt stock on my gun was just a screw and a small amount of fitting.
