If they are semi where does the mag go on a AR lower. AND....if they simply pin on an AR lower seems that the pins AND the lower would really take a thrashing.

Not for me,I would look into a single shot with a 26-30 inch bbl. With a 50, no quick follow up shots are needed. Take your time, pull the bolt, snap in another round,etc............ ----SAWMAN

I wonder if the recoil could damage the lower?

The 18" model would be ridiculous. I might need one of these. Going to need a 2nd mortgage to get the obligatory 1k rounds of ammo per caliber on this one...

I wil stand by my statement, if I am going to shoot something at 1000yrds, then it's coming out of a proven bolt gun. At 1000+yards you want what you are shooting at to go poof then go eat a burger, or something. The only exception for me would be the m82a1 Barrett semi. It is a battle proven .50, in my opinion everything else is a follower beside a Barrett... If I owned a .50 it would be a $15,000 build and that ain't gonna happen... But a Sako TSR in .338 lapua is absolutely in the future...
