5.56 ammo availability getting better every day it seems

I was at Academy yesterday afternoon and they had plenty of brass cased 5.56 for $9.99 and .223 for $8.99. Thought that was a good sign that plenty of it was sitting on the shelves that late in the afternoon and there wasn't a hoard of people swarmed around it like they had found the fountain of youth. I was there to buy a new pair of Oakleys and almost instinctively started to ask for as many boxes as allowed and then realized I had plenty and that thinking is why we are in this mess. So I bought my sunglasses and left the ammo for someone who might not already have 4k plus rounds hoarded up and needs some to actually go shooting.
