I recently acquired a ruger 10/22 that I have intentions to set up as a "mini-me"/training rifle comparable to my rem700. I dont plan on doing anything nuts-o with it, just cheaper plinker. I do plan to add a magpul stock setup to it, again to mimick my rem700 setup (they look cool, ok?...get over it).
I have added a MI picatinny rail to the top of the receiver and I have a set of Burris 1inch low-mount rings to be used.
Main objective at this point is to find suggestions for a budget friendly rimfire scope in the 32-40mm range for basic plinking/bench shooting.
I think the obvious choices are the Vortex Crossfire Rimfire and the Nikon Prostaff line. Any other comparable suggestions in the $100-$130 range? I dont mind spending less either, hah!
