I hope more potential AK buyers do their research prior to buying the first one they come across. I've seen a bunch of junk sold to far too many new owners. You get what you pay for a lot of the time but some of these junk guns are bringing retail prices. Excellent post OP!
I bought that rifle from him shortly after I moved to Pensacola. He even had the original box for it. The quality is unreal and by far the smoothest AK I've ever felt. It puts the SAM7SF, SA93 and a milled MAK to shame. Sadly I only have the SAM5 and SA93 left due to making room for different AK...
I held one in my hands and wasn't all that impressed. Felt cheap, but it did have a nice trigger. Essentially a long slide Security 9. I spoke with a rep and Ruger is having issues with keeping up with demand as well as issues with the guns themselves. Don't have exact details but don't expect...
Looking for an A2 stock assembly complete with receiver extension, buffer and buffer spring.
Also need a Colt 20" barrel with front sight post and bayonet lug. Hand guard and pistol grip.
A complete Colt A2 upper would be awesome!
Trying to help a buddy that's looking for stripped lowers at a good price. He doesn't want to order online and transfer. He's hoping a local dealer has a few at nice prices. Anyone know of anything?
I have the day off so I might just drive up there for a look and see. Don't need anything but something may scream buy me you idiot, I can't be found any cheaper and I'll cave and do it. It's happened before...

Man, I really want to go to this show but I'm very cash poor right now. May try and walk around with some of my guns to sell on Sunday. Have to work on Saturday.
I'm curious when the next larger discount percentage will be. I worked for Gander Mtn while in college and as a side job for over 4 years. When we closed the store I worked at, the percentage off increased every 2-3 weeks. Guns took longer for discounts but the ammo went pretty quickly except...
Stock up an extra mags and ammo. Take advantage of the deals on bulk ammo as much as possible. Never hurts to keep your eyes open for used reloading equipment. It can be had very cheap compared to new and start reading and talking to those that do it and perfect your craft. Always a good idea to...
They are a lot of fun to shoot! Very little recoil and very accurate. I bought my first one about 10 years ago and have had at least one ever since. Don't know anyone, besides my wife, that doesn't enjoy shooting it. The grip is just too big for her small hands.
An acquaintance of mine has made off like a bandit from all the sales Gander has had lately. He was able to score a suppressor and now an FNX Tactical at an awesome price. Who knows what else he's bought lately. If I had the extra cash, I would be up there myself.
