    Also, Better be careful pissin buyers/sellers off in this industry, they will hold true to boycotts.

    Khaled Akkawi, owner of Florida’s largest Gun retail chain, Shoot Straight, also owns Florida Gun Shows Inc and other promotions. A man of low character, doesn’t give a damn about anything but money, lest of all 2A.

    There is indeed an exclusivity clause in his vendors contracts restricting them to only his shows. It’s legal, as he doesn’t have to let anyone sell at his shows. His business, his choice, and as long as people keep going to them and buying from shoot straight, he could care less what people think about him. He’s laughing all the way to the bank on the way to hell.

A quick search of his name and I found a petition folks have started about his escalated illegal business practices, unfair trade practices, violating Florida statute, threatening exhibitors, violating Federal Antitrust laws. Real POS. (Stands for Piece of Shit for the guy that couldn’t figure out smh yesterday.)

    Having worked for 2 other gun shops near one of his in South FL, he and his ilk were great for our shops. He's absolutely ALL about profit as any business owners usually are. Hes been sued a bunch of times and is known for being a terrible human. lots of stories about him out there if anyone cares to look.

    Ok then. Thanks for that. Have seen gun/sporting good "shows" for what they are since I was about 15-16. Will just continue not going...

    But, but, but. My family has always gone. It's right on my way to work. My sister-in-law works there, and needs that job. I can't afford to buy antwhere else... :rolleyes:
