To the OP: I am curious who this product will be marketed to. I don't see any real market for 9mm ammo with .357 Magnum power. A .357 Magnum is overkill in most self-defense situations, like inside a house. And I don't see LEAs wanting to bear the legal burdens of using such a high-powered pistol round.
Have you done any market research to ensure that there is a market for this product?

This has to be a joke just to see the public response so I'll bite.
I still haven't bought 10mm, 40 cal, 38 super, 32 acp, bla bla bla.... the amount of unneeded cartridges is truly mind blowing! I guess its like having 31 flavors at the ice cream store, keep the customers from being bored and keep the money rolling in.

Our cartridge is a standard 9mm cartridge and as I recall the 357 Sig doesn't hit at full .357 Magnum force. This way, our modified pistols can fire normal 9mm and our cartridges (as well as +P and +P+).

In terms of buying one gun or coming on board? Yes, to both. The company needs very little capital --- but we need a captain. And cost per pistol is also competitive for the power they fire safely and reliably.

I understand its the same cartridge but its just another item on the shelf that I cant see a logical reason to use. I have seen plenty of people in the morgue and you dont need a higher transfer of energy from a 9mm to put them there. It reminds me of someone trying to squeeze another 100hp out of an already 1000hp stock cast iron non water jacket block filled chevy or ford small block and in doing so its just going to damage your investment. Everybody has there trade secret sauce and is just trying to grab a piece of the pie for bragging rights on friday night.
Have you ran a few rounds of this ammo through different guns? Say a full auto Grand Power P100 with the rotating barrel that sit lower in the frame compared to other higher barrel mounted frames?

Just an average Joe here with some additional thoughts...
You're not being very clear on your claims reference .357 Power, especially above the 124gr-125gr weight class of bullets. The Sig and your stated ballistics concerning the 124gr class projectiles are rather close... no where near a "leaps and bounds" increase worthy of the required investment in production, advertising, and ammo support.
Would I be correct to associate this wonder 9 with something like the .45 Super... as in it's nothing more than a thicker 9mm case to withstand higher pressures along with a beefier chamber to facilitate the same?
Is this new round a one trick pony (serious question)... as in only competing with .357 Magnum ballistics when compared to a light projectile?
My apologies to come off negative... but I'm seeing more hype than a real break-through in ballistic performance. With bullet technology being as it is today, a couple hundred FPS isn't a break-through IMO.
I believe your sales are going to be dismal at best and limited to people who really don't understand terminal ballistics... mainly the guy that has to have "the latest and (debatable) the greatest" to show off at the public range.
I do envy your ability to do this kind of R&D in firearms related areas... sound both interesting and fun. Good luck going forward however, as if not for people innovating and aspiring for greater man would have never stepped foot on the moon.
