For sale is a brand new in box Zastava ZPAP M70 AK47 in 7.62x39. I bought this in the middle of last year for $1000 before tax/shipping, but other projects have come up so I am willing to let this go at a loss. This was made in Serbia at the famous Zastava factory that has been making AKs for various militaries for decades. These are true Serbian imports, not US kit builds. Unlike in previous decades, the newer ZPAPs have a chrome lined barrel in addition to it being cold hammer forged. I have never shot this rifle. It comes in the box with the original Zastava bolt hold open magazine and paperwork.

Zastava AKs are more heavy duty than the standard AKM. The receiver is 50% thicker than a normal AK receiver, and it has a bulged hammer forged front trunnion for added strength. The barrel profile is also heavier than a normal AK barrel. These are great shooting guns with relatively soft recoil. I haven't modified this rifle in any way. It has the original Serbian double hook forged trigger group, and original furniture.

The US keeps talking about sanctions on Serbia, and Serbia itself has had on-and-off export bans on a monthly basis of all firearms and ammunition as things heat up between them and Kosovo. One day this will join the Chinese and Russian AKs as great imports that are no longer around. I have others and this is a duplicate.

I'm also going to throw in a box of early 90s Russian hunting hollow points, the old school load that tends to have dramatic fragmentation. There's also a surplus mag I have that was rated as very good that needs a little tinkering that I could throw in if someone wants to take a crack at it as well.
