Don't hog hunt as much as I fish so I'm getting rid of it to get a boat. Looking for a nice skiff or a decent bass boat or 7000 Cash
Comes with 2 20 round magazines and about 100 rounds. This gun is deadly accurate. It's the one on the right.
They are a neucence invasive animal and need to be eradicated. I have no interest whatsoever of handling the nasty things and would not want responsibility of dropping off a diseased animal as table fare. They have ruined wildlife habitat , forestry, creeks and waterways, farms etc etc. Can't...
That was the exit from a gut shot. The big one got it in the neck first , DRT and the other one got it in the gut. I'm only interested in extermination and 99 percent of the hogs I shoot now are gut shot. No mess to clean up or contamination of the feeder sites.
Honestly that group isn't that impressive. Would imagine you would see alot of animals run off.. But to answer the question I never shoot at anything living past 400 yards ever. Majority of my hog shots are within 100 yards. I would not hesitate to hunt deer with that rifle if I wanted to.
I don't know about that. My velocity with a 140 is almost 2700 fps, the bc of the 140 is higher than any .30 in the same class. Less felt recoil so less prone to mistakes. The twist rate and the narrow bullet all play factors.
I think it has more to do with sectional density, the bullet is long and skinny. I was very impressed with how light the recoil is with such a hard hitting bullet. The 6 5s seat deeper in the case. I'm running almost max varget in the 6.5 case @35 grains . Max is 36.5 , my lowest loads in 308...
I believe they are a little higher, im super impressed with this round. I'm getting almost as high velocities with 35 grains of varget as my 308 with 42.5 grains. Super accurate in a diamondback DB10, most drop where they stand and almost all of em dont go far.
