      Battlehawk armory had 1000 rounds of 357 mag 158 grain for 500 bucks. They had 1000 rounds of 38 special for 400 before too.

      Hogue makes nice wood grip sets with finger grooves, I have a set on my 3 inch model 29 and they work well.

      Optic on a revolver

      Most smith and Wessons are drilled and tapped so it’s relatively easy to add an optic mount and optic to a smith. I personally wouldn’t unless my eyes went bad but to each their own

      Guns you have looked for forever ?

      I have a 66 and a 686 pre lock snub. The 686 is a -1 only made those for a year, and the 66 is a -4 so it’s drilled and tapped and the best pre lock you can get.

      I have up for sale a pre lock 29-5 classic in the 8 inch variation, gun looks new, excellent shape, has the original rubber stocks on it, the 8 inch are rarer to come by. Included is a hardcase that locks as well. I love the gun but I will never shoot it. I added a set of nice hogue wood grips...
