      Shoot lots of pure non-lubed lead bullets in your weapon! My experience with 5.56 at 25 yards last year after shooting thousands of .22lr in a 1-7 twist AR with a CCMG .22lr adapter. Your mileage may vary! One Shot fixed me up to put a end to that episode.(installed new 1-16” dedicated...

      We have two .22 benchrest guys over at ERGC range 4 while we’re shootin centerfire pistol and rifle. SUPER fellas! My guess is they don’t care for the range 1 .22 shooters either. LOL

      Sub 5.56/.223 for plinking

      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS!!^^^ I ruined a .5.56 stainless barrel 1-7 twist shooting .22lr with the CCMG. Rifling stripped the lead off the .22lr bullets and terrible accuracy. When switching AR bolt back in to fire 5.56, the target reveals tumbling bullets. 25yd target Try as I might I could not...
