      Confiscated guns - a chance to i.d.?

      Thanks for the replies guys. I'll try to find somebody to call in Santa Rosa County to possibly get a peek at the recovered items. The newer guns that we had sn's on, I figure some day we might see again, even though those are easily replaceable. But it's the old guns that belonged to friends...

      Thanks, the PPD investigated the break-in and has a list of the stolen guns and sn's where we had them. I just don't hold out much hope for the older guns unless I can find them and identify them.

      Shipping a shotgun?

      I'm in Pensacola and need to send a shotgun to my son in Jacksonville. Can I break it down and ship it myself on UPS, etc., or does it have to go dealer to dealer? Thanks for any help.
