FL law is grey about carrying a gun into a bar establishment From what I was taught, I can carry it into a bar even with the 51% sign, but I can't be at the bar counter where the bar tender is. I can sit at any other table just not up at the bar. Others input?

Well - you cannot whip it out and try to show off your unit no matter where you are.

Also - you can’t shoot the weapon in the establishment.

Finally - you can’t be drunk while waving your thing around!

It's such a grey area, that I just carry everywhere, and God forbid I ever have to use it, but if I do I'll deal with that consequence when the time comes.... that being said, I don't often find myself in a bar.

I don't go to bars, but restaurants that also serve booze often want to seat the wife & I in the bar area. I always decline, and I often get that 'what's wrong with you?' look.

As far as drinking, is there a law to when you can't carry? I don't take one sip of anything, just curious to more of the grey area. Can you carry after one beer?(not legally intoxicated by the breathilizer)

Law states your not allowed to be in possession of firearm while being intoxicated. Intoxicated is %.08. it doesn't say upon consuming

Cannot carry into “Any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, which portion of the establishment is primarily devoted to such purpose”. Seems pretty clear a bar would be a no carry zone in FL
