my opinion is that we need a constitutional amendment that federal judges must retire at the end of the court term in their 72nd yr. and fix the number of supreme court justices at a max of nine judges.

another amendment that sets the term of office for the president , senate and the house of representatives to be six years with no re-election to any federal office. elections to be held for 1/3 of congress every two years.

if we want a more representative democracy we HAVE to get rid of the ruling elite professional politician class.

you are right Lowriderred but that will not happen. i have voted in every local, state and federal election since 1976 and i have never cast a ballot for a democrate but that doesn't change the fact that what the republicans did in 2015 was wrong. we are just now recovering from the liberal activist Burger court of the 60’s and i do not want to go back there.

yes i know she does not have a legal degree but just remember that it is lawyers that have totally screwed our legal system to the point that justice is rarely served. most of us, I suspect hold that the second amendment upholds an individual's right to own and use firearms. its the lawyers past and present that look for hidden nuances in some of the wording like “well regulated militia” to abrogate that right. laws should be clear and easy to understand by any intelligent citizen. besides I hate scum bag ambulance chasing lawyers.

Okaloosa county used to have a judge that wasn’t a lawyer Judge Courtney I hated it when he retired
I don’t think the lawyer liked him very much though
