FYI - Buck and Bass Increased Transfer Fee

Picked up a lower and found the fee is now $35 vice the $25 they used to charge. Now $40 out the door on any transfers there.

Never really "got along" very well with the ol'man or his grandsons that work there. Kinda stuck up IMO.
Prices FOR EVERY DAMN THING IN THE STORE are insultingly high.

USA Performance Center is $25. And he takes transfers from individuals as long as they include copy of their drivers license with gun. Buck & Bass doesn’t.

They don’t have much of anything. His main business is stock car parts. But he gets his FFL out fast to whom ever I purchase a gun from. And calls me the minute it arrives.

Buck and Bass didn't want to get a "high end" (his words) gun out of the back one time to show me when I asked if he had one. I guess I didn't look like I could afford it, lol. He finally reluctantly did. It was nice, but Ubers had a better one, cheaper. I bought the one at Ubers. That interaction really pissed me off, like he judged me to be too poor to afford his "high end" gun. lol They really do have an arrogant attitude there.

I went into Buck & Bass once just to see what they had...that was years ago. For transfers, last I heard, Nick at Title II in Gulf Breeze was doing transfers for $20 total, and that included up to 3 serial numbers.

Nick or Nate. They're both awesome and have the best prices you're gonna find for an FFL transfer. Nick is still doing up to 2 or 3 serial numbers per transfer for $20. I believe Nate was offering a similar rate if I recall. I know both are kinda out of your area, but it's worth it just to not give money to assholes that don't want your business to begin with. Nick is located in Gulf Breeze and Nate is in Milton.

I think it’s so good because it’s not a gun shop. I hate gun shops. Actually, the shops are fine, the idiots who usually work them are the problem.

Make you wonder why gun shops attract "idiots" to work there. Most have a superior attitude that is certainly not earned or deserved. The employees are the idiots. I guess that's what minimum wage attracts. I can "talk the talk", but I feel bad for new potential gun owners who go in looking for good, honest, reliable advise. They will not get it from your average gun store employee.

They stocked more items than most and always had a better price on ammo. The new prices weren't that great but their used guns were always a good deal. I have a billet lower receiver marked TGD. Not sure who made them.
