I agree, i have always liked them. This was my first pistol i ever bought. But its been sitting in the bottom of my safe for years and its time to let it go. Great shooter, pretty much a tack driver

They are really great guns. A P38 is my preferred carry pistol for everything but concealed carry. My only beef with them is the awkward magazine catch takes some getting used to.
