Smith and Wesson Governor is a much finer firearm than the Judge. I've had two Judges and a Governor. Both Judges had bad mechanical problems and one of their cylinders (the one I bought new) was all 5 holes underbored on the front end. Had to beat out fired hulls with a cleaning rod every time. I put 3" 410 in the 3" cylinder Judge and completely locked it up, couldn't even pull the hammer back, broke. First time on the range, brand new and catastrophic failure. Not a single hiccup out of the Governor ( bought new) and the Governor has room for 6 on board. Not to mention can shoot three calibers (45 ACP) and people make shot shells for 45 ACP, too
I have both. The governor is the wife's HD gun. The poly judge is the bang around outdoors gun. Granted the governor is a much better built weapon, but you could buy 2 judges for the price. Upgraded the grip. Much better. Have had no issues with the judge.
