May be a long shot to find a buyer locally but giving this a shot before doing the auction route online.

Model 61 .22 s or lr pump rifle made in 1958 but could just as easily believe this thing is brand new. Hasn't been handled in over half a century easy. action is as smooth as butter, I don't know how they grade rifles
but I would be very surprised if this was below 95%, Pictures truly do not do it justice.

    That is a beauty.
    I am a .22 whore.
Has this been re finished or is it original?
    Really tempted.

I can tell with 99.9% certainty it's all original, this is one of a couple rifles I got from my dad when he passed and I never saw it removed from it's bag in 30 years, I have decided to let this one and another Marlin 27s (circa 1913-1916) go. I am not really the sentimental type but these two weren't in the gun rack that saw use so really no memories tied to them. Hasn't been touched in decades, but don't know the history before then.
