Thinking about getting an AR9/PCC. What brands do y’all like? I wish I would have gotten the foxtrot mike when it was on sale.

Foxtrot mike makes a good AR9 - looked at them a while back.

I would go with a B&T apc9 pro Glock or a sig mpx if money is not a consideration.

I have a Stag Arms Model 9 with the dedicated lower. It is a factory model that uses the 32 rd Colt sub gun mags (you can also use the UZI mags). It shoots most any ammo including cheap steel cased stuff. It came with the Diamondhead sights which IMO are the better than the Mag Pul BUIS. The fit and finish is better than the Colt sub-guns we had at the PD I retired from! (Of couse those were 3 round burst  ) It is built like a tank and very accurate at carbine ranges! Good luck!

    I’ve had 3 MPX’s, 2x 8” & 16” and sold them. I only have a B&T GHM9 now with std and Glock lower.

both platforms are great and never had a problem. I wouldn’t have sold the MPXs if I didn’t have other projects going at the time.

Non-AR pattern and the Scorpion Evo is hard to beat.

For AR pattern, I did a DDLES (now QC10) lower in Colt pattern mags with a Colt 9MM upper. I know they are historically 'finicky', buy mine has been 100% in 1200-1400rds.

The Factory colt 9mm ar’s run great , I’ve had several over the years and never experienced the problems that some other brands and home assembled ones seem to suffer from.

if you are not locked on three AR platform. I’ve had the scorpion for several years and it runs great no matter what I feed it (although I have never run the super cheap steel stuff). Favorite mags are magpul 35 rounders. The PSA akv mags work well and can be cheaply extended to 50 rounds.
