Received 16 pounds of Alliant 2400. I use it with my cast bullet rifle loads. Made up about 25 pounds of alloy for casting my 11.7x51r Danish rolling block bullets, enough for about 445 bullets. Pan lubed another 48 bullets for the Danish RB.

Wow, Time Magazine named both Hitler and Gorbachev "Man of the Year". And Time Magazine wonders why people largely ignore them nowadays.

Turned the wife loose with the spray paint. She did a great job. Even got snakeskin pattern in it. Got a double gun rack installed.

Picked up a new 22 from Jerry for my son to start shooting. Storm willing - we will be at the range one morning next week.

I dont think its possible. This little guy is 4.14lbs with no mag.
    4.45 with empty mag.

Anyway I finally assembled this cmmg .22 upper and tested her out today! Sweet!!! View attachment 95907
Drill that sucker full of holes, grind off the rail sections you're not using, get rid of the forward assist plunger and skeletonize the pistol grip and mag well and you'd have a sub 3 pound AR pistol. How sweet would that be?!

Today I found out that the Gulf Coast Guns store did not have two out of the three things that I stopped by there looking for. So no 8mm Mauser of any kind and no 40 caliber G22 mags.... however they redeemed themselves right good and proper by having Red Army Standard 7.62x54R for $2 less per box than the Tulammo brand. I promptly bought all of it, just to find out soon afterwards that it's all the same stuff, right down to the Tulammo headstamped cases inside the Red Army box

IMO the 190's and 208's make a great sub load. No need to go heavier unless you find a bullet "good deal".
I had gallon milk jugs full of 220SMK's some years ago. I sold a bunch and finally found someone that traded me 155,165,and 168 gr bullets for them.
    And some years ago I found a good deal on 208's . . . PERFECT !! --- SAWMAN
