Killed a sick coyote that came in my yard and was having a standoff with my dogs. Damn cheap scope fogged up as soon as I ran out with 10/22, but; I endeavored to persevere!

So I must ask/assume the guns were not in a safe? Or were they and the fire was that bad?

All guns in safe were perfect. All guns not in safe had bolts removed and were directly in fire or a few feet away from the center against an outside wall. Most expensive were in the safe. I do miss my M1896 Krag in original condition...had it out of the safe, soaking the bore. FWIW, my extra barrels were in a wood crate...the wood insulated them from flames and all were fine, but storage grease had melted off.

Made a few changes on one of my rebuilds. A little while back, I added the Centurion Arms C4 M-LOK FSP handguard and M-LOK rail panels. This past week, I made a few more changes. They include the following:

Forward Controls Designs Low Drag Forward Assist (LDF-A) - Dimpled
Forward Controls Designs Enhanced Magazine Release, Ambidextrous (EMR-A) - Dimpled
Forward Controls Designs Enhanced Magazine Release, Heavy, Continuous (EMR-HC) - Dimpled
Forward Controls Designs Augmented Bolt Catch/Release V3 (ABC/R), Rearward Biased (RB), Black - Dimpled
Griffin Armament Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle
Griffin Armament Ambidextrous AR-15 Safety Selector Kit
    LaRue Tactical MBT-2S (Straight Bow)

The Forward Controls Designs dimpled pieces go well with the dimpled Centurion Arms rail panels.

Put the nightforce on paper at 200 and ran some pistol to rifle drills on steel 50 out to 300.
It’s nice knowing that the scar is also an MOA gun with my blackhills mk262.
Also sighted in the eotech XPS2-2 on the AR at 50 and confirmed that the bottom of the ring matches the offset at 7. I’ll take it further once I put a magnifier on it. It’s SOOO much cleaner than Aimpoint with my astigmatism.
Found out that full size steel at 50 is surprisingly easy with an MOS gun and red dot... hmmm. That may have cost me some money.
Luckily there are still blue label guns out there out of the reach of the scalpers.

Got to hold a friend's 10.5 snubby today. See why folks like them.

10.5s are a blast. Here is mine (Mk18 Mod 0 clone).

    I also have a 10" (607 clone)
