Was in USA Performance this AM. They will either be moveing or closing. He will know sometime in March.
If he moves it will be to the North end of the shopping center where Reynolds Hardware used to be. Across from the old Cantonment Post Office.
He is not doing transfers untill he moves and deals with ATF. If he repoens it will be the same type of buisness. Performance parts and gun stuff. His transfer fees will remain $25.
Nice guy and I wish him well. ---- SAWMAN

USA has always been easy to deal with. Hope the transfer goes smooth for em. Thanks for the heads up Sawman.

He is a one man operation now.
I would really like to see someone jump in with some money, expierance, and time,to make his buisness grow. I would if younger.
He has treated me really well over the past 14 years or so. Many transfers and special orders completed thru USA-P. ---- SAWMAN

It is THE ONLY gunshop in Escambia County that doesn’t suck.
He did a transfer for me a couple of weeks ago. I’ll follow him for transfers wherever he goes.

Although my sentiment is not that strong, I wouldn't ever do transfers there. I asked a few years back why they were held at $50, "they're time consuming and don't make any money" was my answer from behind the counter.

Mike’s is nowhere near as bad as the pawn shop though. I won’t go there on this thread.

UPDATE - - -> USA Performance has reopened. In Cantonment . . on Hwy.29 . . on the W side of the road . . across the hwy from the old post office ( veterinary clinic now) . . on the N end of the strip mall.
His new FFL should arrive within a week, most likely this week. After that, same operation as before. Extremely limited inventory but can order. He has quite a few distributors and usually got what you wanted in 3-5 working days.
Transfer fees will remain $20+$5. Will do a thorough search of his suppliers while you wait. Will order while you wait. Will promptly call you when your item comes in.
Have done buisness with this guy for alot of years. Would reccomend him. --- SAWMAN

Glad to hear its open. Been doing business with him since probably 1995 or 96. I get transfers, parts for the old hot rod, and race gas there. What more do you need right?

PFC is several doors down in the same mall. I have not been in the shop however I did talk to some "kid" that worked there (before it was in that location). IIRC it was about a year ago,at a gunshow table.
He was a arrogant, cocky, know it all.
Since then,I have heard nothing good about the place. Seems they make their own hours and are rarely open.
I am unsure as to what services they provide. Someone told me cerakoteing. --- SAWMAN

Went in to PFC a few days ago, the young feller was nice & polite.
Think I'll be bringing in some Cerakote work there in a few weeks.
Got a pistol that needs some serious love...the finish is worn out on it.

I’d be cautious; I’ve heard some horror stories about them. Do your research first

I'm wondering if it's the same owner, same staff. I thought they had changed hands awhile back.
