RMR's are great, I run one on a few guns, but this SRO window is huge and great for the range or even bedside, just not carry, I think it'd do great for ya!

Im on target much quicker using my SRO compared to the other red dots I've used.
With the SRO I never lose the dot.
No problem with holsters made for optics or concealed carry.
It's rugged, durable, long battery life.
Wouldn't use anything else.
For what it's worth, just an opinion.

Trijicon makes an adapter and there are a bunch of other manufactures that make adapters. It's the same footprint as an RMR.
