People always focus on the Presidential candidates and rightly so, but the Staff these Presidents build key departments with matter just as much and sometimes more.

The Biden FCC in their hatred of Musk definitely hurt thousands of Americans by their direct actions, sometimes we just don't see it until the damage is done...

Musk could have had 20,000 Starlink Terminals working in North Carolina before Helene hit, the FCC said no. Now that Helene has pummeled rural areas such as Asheville like never before we've seen that real time communication is/was a matter of life and death and in this case could have been avoidable...

But note how much the left loved him when he was known as the "EV Guy". Totally lost their shit when he opened up Twitter to freer speech. I was just as ambivalent towards him before as after. I can tell you, as a bona fide Frustrated Intergalactic Traveler, that he is no slouch.

Why can't they just charge it on the Federal Express card, like usual? Those in power are still using the " lotto winners" spending model. Need to put an AI accounting program on the budget....
    BINGO.

They have no problem borrowing for EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD, so...

I remember when the Dems were influencing social media the government was all “it’s a private company, they can set whatever rules they want” but when Musk was buying Twitter it became “social media is too necessary and powerful not to be regulated.”

Nothing came of it, but the sudden change in opinion was conspicuous.

govt sending $750 checks out... no mail boxes to put them in, no electricity to electronically send them to banks, banks closed, or gone also, no cars to go to the bank, no food, no gas, what a cluster..

drones being told not to fly over, private helicopters being threatened with arrest if they try to help... these assholes need to be whipped for this.

A large number of the more conservative voters in North Carolina are living in the rural areas, slowing down response times to those areas means people will still be getting their lives back together in a month and not even thinking about travelling to a voting location.

No absentee ballots either, where would they get sent to if their homes are gone? Even the voting locations located in the rural areas may not be up and running forcing people to make longer drives to vote.

I have a couple rabid democrat members in my family. I was shocked at the level of hatred they had for the former president. And another shocking thing is their refusal to talk about our current situation? I mean they foam at the mouth at the mere mention of of his name but can not give you one legitimate reason for hating him? Or why there candidates are better
Do the Democrats have a pbrain disintegrating ray?
