Figured I'd move this over here. Looking for taurus mags to fit the CT40. Now there has to be a magizine that can be "tweaked" to work in it. Remember it's the 40 cal not the 9mm. Heres some pix. The notch on the back is for the catch. Rounds are presented flat at the mag. Dig thru those parts boxes!!!!!

Nope. Colt mag won't work. Won't even go in the magwell. It's strange cause it looks good, just a hair too wide. Dammit. I'll throw the mag in my parts bin.

The sad thing is Brazil / south America has been using the smt 40 for over 10 years. There has to be a mountain of 30rd mags there. How do we get them? The mag says "SMT /CT 40" on it.

Mag maker must be a popular fellow!
Took forever to track him down. No ads up or anything. He built a press, made a mold for the mag follower and welds em up. Alot of labor. Anyway, I think there are so few that it's not a big enough market for promag, asc or c products to make them. Too bad cause it's a solid carbine. Shoots great and is very accurate. Easy to take down and clean. Very H&K ish.
