I just got a star bm 9mm in a trade and it will come off safety very easy. Too easy. I usually tote a 1911 cocked and locked. I want to carry this one the same way but that safety comes off all the time accidentally so i wont carry it. Is there any way to fix this?

Probably need to refresh all the springs in the pistol, given its age.
    Two choices...
    1. Go to Ace Hardware on 9mile & 29, with all your springs. individually search out each & every one until you have all your replacements.
    2. order 'em in from SARCO or Numrich, or other gun parts houses.
