Just found this guy in the mailbox by way of Royal Mail. This is a replica built by a shop in the UK that has an original mount they used as a basis. The 3 D cell Maglite torch is a UK military surplus that has external threads machined into it to screw into the mount. The claw assembly itself is UTG and the bracket was machined out of aluminum. It is high enough to view your irons through the mount.

There were also some made by the company that turned into Surefire. Apparently the bulb had some sort of etching so when you flashed the light there would be a ring or dot in the middle that acts as your aiming pointer. This bulb is just a standard light so it just floods light. Interesting idea though!

You need lithium batteries to keep it light lol. If they even make them in C or D.
