Yes they are jumping through hoops as many of us are reaching out to different waste providers. I am not accepting one pickup a week for more money than I now pay for two pickups a week. They did not put out a bid and it would appear have broken several state laws in this debacle. Guess it ain't just the real estate dealings that are shady in our county lol

if i understood what just happened...they approved adams sanitation working in the county, which effectively negates the franchise/monopoly system.
Problem now is wastepro has filed a suit to halt Adams ability to operate in Pace. They're seeking an injunction to maintain their monopoly...

seems like they should be suing the county. THEY are the ones handing out franchises/monopolies.

i have to say i didnt have any foreknowledge or opinion on either company before yesterday. i have been saddled with ECUA's incompetence these last 5 years. but i was impressed with Adam's presentations and arguments. Wastepro reps. evidently got mad and left before it was over.

I wonder how much kickback or under the table $$$ the BOCC got for unlawful ruling? And Which one(s) got it?
It certainly should be investigated. The damn bunch of crooks.

Strongly agree. The sad thing is that many county governments throughout the nation are not much better.

I live in the southern end of the county. Looks like I'm stuck with poorer service that costs more money since Adams has not indicated that they want to service my area. When I fist moved here there were several companies that provided waste service and I could choose whatever one I wanted. Let's go back to that concept. Let any company that wants to come in and compete: open, free and competitive.

I signed up for Adam's by looks of it they got cleared for their permit so screw waste pro. It didn't hurt my feelings seeing ecua not have trash pickup. They weren't bad but there was definitely issues fairly regularly with the cs boning things up
