Bought this new in about 1979. Dad used it for years at his cabin in the Ozark mountains for varmit control. A couple of years ago, I decided to trick it out. Ditched the carbine stock and barrel. Sent the trigger group off and had it reworked. It’s about 3#, no creep and very crisp. I removed the paint from the receiver and polished it. Added a Boyd stock, a trued, polished, tapered bolt, Carbon fiber barrel. Added a softened buffer, extended magazine release, skeletonized bolt grip. Decent Simmons scope, I had sitting in the safe. Silencerco Sparrow.
This is a fun gun to shoot, tack driver..

This gun also has a metal trigger group. Not like the newer plastic ones.

I've been wanting to upgrade the stock on my 10/22 to what you have. It's looking great and looks fun to shoot. Nice job!

They have gone up in price some since I bought mine. I believe I paid around $120.00
