I made a trip over to Gulf Coast Gun & Outdoors this afternoon. I picked up a new Lipsey's Exclusive Glock P80. I have been looking to get one for a couple months every since I heard they were coming out. This makes the 13th Glock in my collection.

Which glock is your favorite? Not counting the new one as I'm sure that's number 1 atm

I’ve never heard of the P80.
Looks similar to the 19x or maybe the 17?
    I’ve been thinking of getting a 43x.

I'm a Glock user for their well known utility and functionality. I have several models and two calibers but never felt the need to upgrade to the newest Generation (s). That said, I see no need to regress to an older (first) model either. For a collector like OP, sure it fits and will always be worth more than a G17. I did notice OP tastes stick to common defense models not guns primarily used in gun games. Nice.

    From Lipsey's website.

In 1981, Gaston Glock assembled a team of engineers and designed his first firearm. The result was submitted to the Austrian Army pistol trials and won the contract in 1982. The Army then designated the first GLOCK as the Pistole 80. These guns were later known commercially as “G17s” and were only available in the US market for 2 years until the “Gen2” model was introduced in 1988. P80 marked GLOCKs were never imported into the US.
