Have you considered a soft-cooler? I did the hard cooler for years, had a Yeti, it was, meh. Gave it to son-in-law.
My soft Yeti works just as hard and it’s easier to lug around. And if you’re just wanting something for deer camp, it might be just the ticket. YMMV

I have two Engel coolers and I love them. Pretty sure they are made in Florida.
I second the soft cooler comment above. I have two soft sided Yeti coolers and they are much easier to handle, for a few drinks and snacks.

I know a guy who has a Pelican. It’s just as nice as a Yeti, IMO, and one thing I do like is the lid. When I had my yeti, you had to make sure the ice was packed down into the cooler, but with the Pelican it has a lip on the lid so I felt there was more room for ice (if that makes sense. Look at the lids for both online and maybe you’ll see what I’m referring to).

I also think you can get replacement parts for Pelican, if need be. Not sure about Yeti or others.

3 pages and what’s the saying
This thread is worthless w/o pics

Haven’t filled each to see what they will hold in qts of water but yeti is a 45 and orca 26 but yeti is only 3” longer inside. 19 vs 16. Both are 11w and yeti 10” deep and dorca 8.5
The usable depth is about a inch below top at visible line because of the way lid is designed. A vaulted style would have more internal room.
Think I’ve heard yeti overstates the actual capacities.
The pelican type latches are probably more durable than the type on either of these and the Walmart or academy cooler for a third of the price probably works just as good and has less chance of some AH stealing it.

Don't know if they have any left, but you might find some of these on the web somewhere. I bought two of these military surplus Cambro brand Yeti-type things for like $50 each from an "Army Barracks" surplus store in Scarborough Maine. They own half a dozen stores, and the main warehouse store for Army Barracks is in Massachusetts. Give them a call. Never know. The Army Barracks owner makes good sport out of buying out other surplus stores going out of business all across the country, so I've found good deals on milsurp stuff there that I haven't seen anywhere else in years.

6? Days... no ice left but drinks were very, very cold still. Like can't hold them cold. Very pleased.
