If I were to offer 1 day basic pistol and rifle classes at ERGC, 8-10 hours, 5 students, $100 a head, would you be interested?

For those following along; I was told last Saturday by someone on the ERGC safety committee that I’m approved pending me purchasing insurance. Well today I purchased the insurance and sent them a copy. Also bought new target stands and targets, pasters, etc. I met with a CPA yesterday and will be waiting for the new year to file my LLC, but may host classes before then. Also have a good adjunct instructor friend lined up for classes that go over 5 students. That said, I may have to increase prices to $150 a day to help cover bay rentals, etc, but will never go above that and will aim to keep it cheaper when possible.

This may be a tad premature, but hey, I’m super stoked about it...

Introducing Deadly Threat Defense LLC, your source for affordable firearms training in the Pensacola area!

Well, soon to be LLC at least, as my CPA tells me it takes about two weeks for the state to process. Then I’ll have to get a county business license and open a new bank account. So much government regulation to start my first legitimate small business lol. But I’ve purchased the .com domain and made a Facebook and Instagram page, so that means something right?

Anyway I’m eyeing November 30th as a possible first class date for Pistol Fundamentals. Would like to limit this first class to 5 students and keep the price at $100. I’m sure they’ll be some growing pains to work out, but I’ll guarantee you’ll have a good time. Those interested in that date for a pistol class, PM me and I’ll reserve you a spot. At this time I’m not going to ask for any kind of payment to reserve a spot, but I ask that you make it a priority to attend. You guys in this thread are getting first dibs, and it’s possible future classes may have to go up in price to keep it feasible, or be larger groups. I have a good adjunct instructor lined up to keep the ratio 5:1 or lower if needed.

If you have Facebook and/or Instagram, look me up @deadlythreatdefense. I greatly appreciate your interest!

Thanks. What kind of “advance” classes are you looking for? I’m purposely shying away from anything tactics based. But to me an “advance” weapons class is usually just the basics applied at speed lol

Yes sir I agree. Exercises in drawing from concealment to engage one to multiple targets as in a real world encounter, with some scenarios incorporating movement before drawing as if to put myself in front of my wife and children. Edited to add my understanding cost would be higher and class size should be kept limited to students who meet your criteria.

Once I get going with the fundamentals classes, then I’ll work on putting together application classes
