I made steak last night for dinner. If you have to cook one indoors the enameled cast iron grill is the best way to do it. Wife had thawed some roast beast and changed her mind, deciding to make beef stew with it. No complaints from me!

Beef stew and biscuits go great together for breakfast!

Wife made Chicken Curry for dinner yesterday. Enough left for tonight, so I decided to make a corned beef hash for Sunday breakfast. Used the opportunity to try a corned beef sammy, on wheat with cheddar. Not as good as a spam sammy, corned beef is better in hash or with cabbage!

Wife mentioned soup, and said she had leftover baked chicken and red potatoes. I went; "Oh, better idea. Chicken and corn chowder with veggies!"

On a cooling rainy day, it hit the spot.

    I love chowder.
RR, forgive me for pointing this out but you seem to love everything! Edible anyway.

I do like a wide range of foods and there are only a few things I cannot/will not eat. Few that I will not try. I had a blast in Hawaii in the 70's with the diverse food offered there coming from a rather rural upbringing and good old country cooking (which I still love!). Another member once said that as much as I like food, he expected I would be a much larger fellow. LOL

I do love to eat. I tried hunger a few times, not for me!

Grilled last week just before a dental implant procedure so I would have lots of tasty soft food to eat. I over cooked the foil packs of asparagus, which lead to asparagus corn chowder with peas. Waste not, want not!

Ray.....you done eat so much good food you wore your teeth out?

LOL, not yet; but I am a'trying! Had to get an implant for the right front tooth.

Had a root canal on it in '75, broke it in a training incident in '97 and got a crown. Broke the crown last fall, and now have an implant waiting to be capped in a few months.

It has slowed me down, but I am not starving because of it!
