Fired the grill off for the first time in too long, as evident by the char on the Caribbean Jerked Chicken. Wife had a real craving for sweet potatoes, so she made me two Idahos and loaded the grill with sweet potatoes!

Found some redfish in the freezer from this fall. I vacuum sealed it so I knew it was still

good. Made parmesean crusted redfish. Parm, pako, ranch dressing, and provalone cheese make up the topping. Went with an easy side of frozen mixed veggies.

Get a kayak, you'll never use a boat again. There's a great deal on one here in the for sale section. Love mine.

No finished pics, I was too hungry! My reward for braving the store today with a bandanna as an improvised face covering. Dang thing made it hard to breath with my non-allergy rhinitis. Kept it simple; meat, bread, mayo, mustard, and two slices of sharp cheddar.

Wife declined the second burger I cooked, so a onesie breakfast sammich was made. One bun, one patty, one egg, and one slice of cheese. Heated patty in skillet, buttered then toasted bun, and fried egg. One decent morning wake-up!

Damn Ray !! I thought that you was a discriminate fancier of the finer foods.
After cooking them "burgers" you should have thrown them in the shitcan and ate the cardboard package.

That is getting a little judgy Bill, especially from someone who has made few food post on the thread!

For Chief's Initiation one of the questions was "What is your favorite food?" I answered: "Cheeseburger!"

Any burger is good, a cheeseburger is better. A cheeseburger with egg or bacon is superb. One with egg AND bacon, is divine! It is all in how it is seasoned, prepared, and dressed. I should have added a little more salt and pepper when I gently heated the patty up, but it was still good.

Have you ever had a Blue Dot Burger Bill? It is a really good sample of what a burger can be. If still open you might have to do a take-out to see what a good burger can be.

Simple food cooked properly and well is always good to me. ;) I will save the cardboard for you next time! LOL

Last two 1/2 pound patties used to make my version of Hawaiian Loco Moco.

Marinaded patties in a soy based sauce, slow cooked them to squeeze out max fat. After they were almost done, use the fat and ghee use to make gravy with LOTS of black pepper. Sliced onions and sauteed portobello mushrooms were added and simmered slowly for 30 minutes until onions done.

Despite having been a while since I made gravy, it turned out pretty good!
