Couldn't wait for dinner so had this for lunch.
Mahi fillet (about 1 pound),tomatoes, boiled egg, real (!!) home made blue cheese dressing. Sooooooo much blue it will damn near take your breath away. WITH . . crushed garlic and just a little Tobacco added to make the uneducated/uninformed go - - -> WTF !!
After the dressing is made,it sits in the refer for 3-5 days to "age". When you take the top off a little curl of smoke wiffs up. READY !!
NO Bob's Burger. . but works for me. --- SAWMAN

It’s what is for dessert - 2012 Montecristo #2 with a tanqueray and tonic.

Dinner was fried chicken (with AL’s 100 year old secret seasoning)

Shiitake mushroom gravy with rice (out of potatoes)

    Home made Mac and Cheese

And a couple of Chinese sides.

Returned to the sous vide for a perfect rare steak last night. The big mess is cornbread dressing mixed with left over mashed and fried taters, drizzled with the au jous from the steak cooking. Yeah, I am NOT a gourmet! LOL

No boiling was involved, it is a precision cooking method. Surprised it has not peaked your interest as you could cook shrimp to the perfect level of "just done" every time with this method.

We both know what each did in the canoe club, but I am beginning to think you started as an undez striking for pecker checker!! LMAO

Got luck and snagged some Boars Head corned beef. Deli guy said it is the first since March, and they got 2 in. I grabbed some Arnold dark rye bread and Russian salad dressing. Lunch was classic Reuben sandwiches.

Those tail section in the spoon are the length of the last two digits of my middle finger, and I can palm basketballs! The rest of the shrimp was cut into 4 pieces. LOL
