Had a big ol' hogfish filet last night for supper. Will eat the rest tonight. Used my "Blackened" recipe.
A buddy across the street that fishes out of Steinahatchee brought me back some . . fresh. I havent had it in about 40 years and forgot what flavor and great consistancy it has. (extremely light, flakey meat)
The fish will bite a hook but the best way is SCUBA.
I believe that it is in the snapper family. --- SAWMAN

It ain't fancy, but my girl likes it. Homemade bread and butter pickles, homemade cranberry mustard, cheese, summer sausage, salami, smoked ham and some good old Oscar Mayer roast chicken.

Dinner in a few, first; BREAKFAST! Kodiak cakes flapjacks with blueberries from the wife's bushes, and link sausages.

Wife covered lunch and dinner, a chicken curry. Yummy, with extra potatoes as I requested!

Pork back ribs! (Publix, not wild) You know they are ready when they fall apart! 4-5 hours at 225-250. It’s ok if it goes to 300 for a little while. Not over tho! Reloaded coals once. Sprayed apple juice/olive oil mix about every 30 min. At the end I coated with favorite bbq sauce and let cook for :30 more minutes. Prep - pull membrane off back side, generously coat both sides with Kosher salt and then rib rub mix. I will list rib rub if someone wants it. Just too lazy after eating.

I used to make fun of people who posted pictures of their food, but since I grew it and cooked it, and it tasted and looked great; I was proud.

Freshly picked Yellow crooked neck summer squash, black beauty zucchini, and ichiban Japanese eggplant tossed in extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and oven baked at 400* for 12 minutes. Blue lake bush green pole beans prepared the same way, but with shredded Parmesan cheese added too.

Looks good, but that's what food eats. :)

I don’t have enough room to grow steak, but may violate my HOA and at least do eggs

3-4 rhode island reds will get you about 3-5 eggs a day, for 2-3 years...then it's chicken soup time
