    **** Something I forgot to mention, when using the super shells and super chokes it's a slug gun at close ranges!!!!!

    Also left my damm shells at home, dug around in my jeep and found some. Hopefully it won't be a "mad max" moment...lol

    Its makes it even more important to pattern the gun with these new setups.

    32 degrees means absolutely no bugs.... so that was a welcome change.

    These public land birds are such a pain. Had 6 different gobblers firing off that I could hear. I started on the closest 2, and they worked in to 175 acres of private land. It was still early, so I went to where another bird was. Truck parked there. Same thing on the next bird. The last pair of birds were still hammering at 9:30. I could see them from the paved road on a clear cut (private land) and I could see 2 guys creeping to them.

    I understand it's chess, not checkers... but damn these birds are frustrating.

    Yep, and sometimes its other hunters with a gobble call. This is year 4 with no bird.:-(
