Looks like alot of .22LR fun. Had looked at one of the old tec22's and liked the idea of hi-cap but too many problems with them. If anyone has the CP33 or shot it let me know your thoughts. Only downside I can see is $49 mags. Thanks. Would look cool with a yellow upper. rimsteel1902.jpg

If you look at the PMR and the CMR, which does the CP33 resemble? I wondered why for a few seconds. PMR was first then I it cost another chunk of change to make the different form of the CMR! Now, we have the CP33 form which could very easily be factory changed/produced as a Carbine or some "braced" variant. Just my thoughts on evolution.

Is CP33 availability improving and how are prices?

I personally didn't care for it when I saw it. But to each his on. Volquartsen is king of the 22's in my opinion. IMG_1296.JPG

Here, thanks for the heads up on the cp33 at outpost. Trying to find one for less. By the time they stuck taxes on it, it's over $500.
Wanted to get a .22 suppressor and this looked like a good one for it.

Actually if you check Gunbroker 449 is a very good price but its just like anything else when it first comes out it demands a price but it levels out after a while. just depends on how long you are willing to wait. It took me 3 years to get a PMR30 but you know that story.

I know. These came out in Jan 19? I figured the price would level out by now. It has they are not 600-700 now, but still high. I'll figure out something. Found a deal in trussville, missed it by 2 hours. $400 cash. = $50 in fuel and 7 hour drive time to save $50 bucks, I should just spend the extra $50 local.

Still waiting!!! :-( I did find a scorpion brace sb3a on arms list $75 and ordered the adaptor. It's like the mount on the ar180. Got a burris mini red dot in the works for it too.

Yep, always hard to find. Did see one, after taxes would have been over $500. I'll wait. Save the $100 to spend on something else!

Best thing to do with Keltec is simply wait five years after they announce something.
By then it's available easily ;)

I think the Ruger 57 will fill any slight Keltec itch I had, though I haven't decided on buying that either. Keltec's slow production rate keeps prices inflated for 5-7 years (PMR/CMR), maybe longer! The Keltec "hot items" are just not worth the inflated (well beyond MSRP) street price IMHO. I'm well past any desire to do 30+ round mag dumps, it's average accuracy can be equaled/beat and its got a Butt on it like a hip hop star but only has a 5.5 inch barrel! It is threaded for muzzle devices and top railed for optics out of the box. I can envision a braced version being popular but I think there's too much competition in the 22LR carbine market but if Keltec only makes there normal small produntion quantities, they'll sell. Lol

At least you can get CMR's easily now, price is reasonable :)
Altho 30 round mags to me says "got plenty to practice with before having to reload!"
