    Bosch or Milwaukee for corded. My Bosch corded hammer drill replaced a 19 year old Makita corded hammer drill. That being said I don't think that Makitas or DeWalts are the quality of the older ones. Just my .02 worth!

    Agreed, I’ve been using the little Bosch bulldog for tapcons and anchors for years.

    Bosch isn't what it used to be either.
    They are all engineered to have a lifespan

    Wouldn't buy anything but Makita myself. Never had anything go wrong with any Makita I've ever had and I've abused the living crap out of them.
