Late to the party but belated Happy birthday.
I'll be saying the same " If I'd know I was going to live to be 75 I would have taken better care of my body, but thinking if I could go back in time and change my actions from when I was 14 till when I was 45 and lead a non eventful life would I, would you ? And miss all the memories of the " good times" we had ?

. If I had known I was going to live to 70 (Happy Birthday to me) I would have taken better care of myself.

He will never tell the members but - -> I have seen the display at the Naval Aviation Museum at NAS.
Franks dad was awarded TWONAVY CROSS awards(medals) plus many others for his flying skills and bravery during WWII. (I would really like to know how many men were ever awarded TWO ??)
Frank's pop was a REAL WORLD HERO. The world is a better place due to men of this stature.
He is MY hero ... and I never had the pleasure OR HONOR of meeting him,or rendering him my most snappy, respectful salute. However I have to Frank,in his pop's honor. --- SAWMAN

Thanks Sawman, it was 2 NC and there were only a handfull in WWII that had more than 1. His first 5-7 kills were all in 1 flight, I might add he was very humble and never discussed as he felt the men we lost were the true heros.

    A little info:
