I have just been handling it and doing some dry fire. I do not yet have a holster for it and I have not fired it yet. I did mount a holosun 507 on it.
It is meant to be a replacement for my Glock 19. With the stiff DA trigger it should be safer to holster carry and on single action it has a better trigger than does the glock system.
New to CZ is a mill cut for optic. Excessive dry fire is said on the internet not to be good, but one can install an off market retainer roll pin for the firing pin and gets rid of the problem and there are trigger available for it. It comes with a snap cap that I have not yet managed to use.
So far I like it a lot. It uses a 15 shot mag and will use some other CZ mags and also SIG P226 mags I have been told.
I will carry this with external hammer in the quarter cock position. Makes thumb cocking easier and is safe to carry at 1/4 cock since there is trigger actuated firing pin block. The decocking lever drops it to 1/4 cock position.
