That's funny. I had my chronograph out there during the middle of the day on Saturday testing out some new 9mm loads. Is there any chance you were the person I talked to a few weeks ago about light primer strikes on CCI primers?

Yep. Been cursed with a bad batch of CCI small pistol primers. Going to load some up for my 9mm and see if it does any better with them than the 357.

So being that close to the range can you hear the gunshots form outside in the yard or in the house?

Yes, I always know when someone is playing my song. The house is well insulated so I have to go out to my back porch to listen.

I have no problems with it myself. I know the range master has people calling him and bitching if someone starts too early on Sunday or goes after sunset, but you get that everywhere.

I'm 1.3 miles from the range as a crow flies and I have never been able to hear anyone shooting there.

Noise is minimal. I guess my only concern would be which end of the firing line your property is on. Three miles downrange should be safe but you never know about the one stray.

The ranges are set up to shoot west to East, we are South of the range. Looks like 25/50/100yd rifle, 50' pistol
